It's officially the off-season in the NFL, so in order to keep everyone up-to-date on all the transactions going on in the league, I present to you.....the Ultimate Football Blog's NFL Off-Season Guide!

Any transaction that happens in the NFL will be featured in this column. If you are lost by the amount of roster transactions your favorite team has made so far this year, have no fear. You've come to the right place to keep track of it all.

Before we begin, just a quick note:

-"2014 playing grade" is pretty self-explanatory. It's the grade I'm personally giving the player based entirely on what they did on-the-field last season. Get it? Got it? Good.

Best Available Free Agents

We are officially two weeks into free agency in the NFL. While most teams have already blown their collective wads on certain players (Miami signing Ndamukong Suh for example), NFL team-building experts know that the best free agents are usually the guys signed "under the wire" and later in free agency. The guys who sign the big money contracts at the beginning of free agency generally value money over winning. The guys who are signed later on in free agency usually tend to value winning over money, but part of that comes with them not being good enough to command a large dollar amount on the open market. These are usually the guys who come in on cheap contracts and look to have great seasons in order to earn more money next season.
