Overlook: The Green Bay Packers are a great football team.
Did you really need me to write that sentence in order for you to know that? Probably not. This football team is a really well-constructed football team from the top all the way to the bottom. Looking at their roster, you see something that you don't see anywhere else in the NFL because the Packers know how to build a football team. There are only THREE players on the Packers entire roster that have played for another NFL team. That is just incredible. That means the Packers have an insane eye for talent and are incredibly gifted at developing successful NFL players. You want to know the recipe for a successful NFL franchise?
Draft well.
Develop great.
Re-sign your guys.
That's what the Green Bay Packers do and they do it better than anyone else in the league. Just look at their roster. They don't have any "bad" players starting anywhere on their team. They have no real weaknesses anywhere on-the-field and they have one of the best head coaches in the league. The combination of Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers has been giving the NFL fits for awhile now and it's not slowing down anytime soon.
Are the Packers a Super Bowl team? Without a doubt. I actually would go even further and say that this team has the POTENTIAL to make the 1972 Miami Dolphins sweat a little bit. Why is that? Not only do the Packers have a REALLY good football team, but the schedule also shapes up quite nicely. The Packers toughest games this season (vs. Seattle, vs. Dallas) are homes games for them. Their toughest away games (vs. Denver, vs. Arizona, vs. Carolina) are also extremely winnable games. See what I mean? Now, I'm not going to go all the way out on a limb and say the Packers are going to win the Super Bowl and go undefeated this year, but I will say this. It wouldn't SHOCK me at all to see that exact thing happen. That's just what happens when you know how to build a football team. Round of applause for the Green Bay Packers.
